Should I open DBS Multiplier account to park my savings?

Currently using eSavings account to transfer monthly amount but it sucks- max 3k per month. EP in SG (single) for the past 6 years

  • DBS savings account - my monthly salary comes here. Occasionally use the debit card with it
  • DBS eSavings account - auto transfer $2500 per month on the 1st
  • Krisflyer AMEX card - frequent flyer so use this for a lot of spending
  • Used to transfer money back home (India) once a year but don't plan to do so now
I can save $6000 a month after monthly expenses.

Do also note that there are recent changes to the terms of the multiplier account! (in case your savings exceeds 25k there are other better options) https://www.dbs.com.sg/iwov-resources/pdf/depos...

Definitely worth opening it! I’ve recently open one account too, the interest rate is very good especially for your high amount. It works better with multiple kind of transactions such as salary crediting, paying bills and many more!

Worth reading it up and compare with other banks such as UOB, Standard Charted and OCBC
