Hi! I am in uni right now and I'm thinking of getting a short-term (3 year) endowment plan since I have the funds to do so.
This is also because many banks have dropped their interest rates. Hence, having an endowment plan may be a better savings plan in the short term.
However, my parents said that I should only apply for endowment plans when I enter the work force.

You can invest in them if you have no short-term need for the money, but do hear your parents out first for their rationale.
Last I checked, Tiq offers 2.1% return guaranteed endowment plan. You can look at other companies to see if they offer any products with higher returns.
