Credit Cards

Should I change my CC from SMRT Citibank to SCB unlimited cashback or SCB Spree or not?

Background: 27M, not married, don't normally purchase online, everyday spending-1k/month excluding bills, insurance.

Current cards: OCBC titanium & cashflow, SMRT citi, UOB singtel.
OCBC titanium was 'bundled' when signing up for the cashflow card

Usage:

Cashflow: GE premiums

Titanium: ATM card or if any discount when I shop or dine

UOB Singtel: phone bill or if any discount when I shop or dine at

SMRT Citi card: Ez link, dining, any purchases

Banks: DBS, OCBC

Open to all advice, thanks!

I think the citi card will serve you better than the standard chartered cards.

This is because you are spending about $1,000 which i believe is sufficient to meet citibank upsized cashback criteria (Above $300)

I don't think you should change. CIti SMRT has still been serving me well with 4.7 to 5% interest.

I can suggest that you apply for HSBC advance card. With a simple workable legit hack, we can get 2.5% interest at no minimum spend and no spend category to fulfil as well. :)

I would say stick to SMRT Citibank since you already spend 1k a month and can get the extra 0.3%!...
