Hi there! Yes you’re right.
When you turn 67, you will receive a lifelong payout every month. There are 3 plans that you can choose from: Standard, Basic and Escalating Plan.

  • Standard Plan: more payouts for yourself
  • Basic Plan: more for your family upon your passing
  • Escalating Plan: increasing payout every year by 2%
The monthly payout also differs on the amount in your Retirement Account (RA).

Let’s say you have achieved the Full Retirement Sum in your RA, your payouts from age 65 for each plans would be as so:

  • Standard plan: $1,320 - $1,410
  • Basic plan: $1,240 - $1,290
  • Escalating plan: $1,010 - $1,110 (initial amount which increases by 2% every year)

I hope this helps and I wish you all the best!

Hey!

You are right. At 55, should your combined saving from the Ordinary Account and Special Account is higher than the Full Retirement Sum, you get to withdraw whatever is above the sum. Should you fall below, you can draw $5,000.
Once you are done with this phase, after the age of 67, you will receive the promised monthly payout which. Assuming you have reached the Full Retirement Sum (FRS), the payout every month should be about $1,280 to $1,380 per month, for life.
