Planning to RSP into US based ETFs over a long term horizon, should i wait till the US market crashes further?

Also, with the covid19 situation deteriorating in the US leading to spiking of unemployment levels and low corporate earnings, should we even invest in the US market? considering the possibility of a long term depression or even an uncertainty if the US economy will ever recover.

To determine if the market condition is favourable to invest, the question will be: Is there a right time to invest?

Accordingly, I have compiled a list of financial crisis and disasters since the 90s and every other strong reasons not to invest. However, the market has proven otherwise year after year.

Therefore, focus with the right investment strategy by knowing your investment objective. Then decide the tenure and decide whether to invest a lump sum or to do it via dollar cost averaging.

Finally, invest into assets that suits your risk appetite.

I have the same question and I concluded that....

yes, i believe that USA market have more to fall.... and I will follow through with most of my cash going to the market ONLY after the market start drop 20 - 30% more.

meanwhile, I understand that I can be wrong (actually i am usually wrong ;) so around June, I will start some ETF saving plans (by roboadvisors) to invest $1000 per month so that if I am wrong, well at least i started something to move upwards.

If I am right, that $1000 per month won't be affected too much too.

      Why June?

Because sell in May and go away.... ^.^โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹

It is definitely difficult to tell when the bottom is and if the market will crash even further, hen...
