Currently combined income of 10k, just selected our 300k flat. Shifting in in 2025, what should we do to play the property game in Singapore well? Should we keep this flat as a forever home while buying a property to rent out? By the time we reaches MOP, we should be drawing conservatively 20k-30k income in 2030 (we are both in the tech sector). Looking for advice.

1) Rent out all rooms, left 1 room. Till end of MOP.
2) sell the BTO, buy 1 condo tgt, rent out. Live with parent if possible.
3) sell the condo. Then buy 1 condo each. Rent 1 out. If you are still able to live with parent, rent both out.
4) when about to retire sell 1 of the condo.
Rental yield is not very good. Condo even rental may only cover partial monthly installment, u will still bleed $$$. capital appreciation is the only game u can play with sg residential properties. Owning multiple residential properties (1 person) in sg make no sense because of ABSD.
