Is year-end bonus or AWS taxable in the year it is earned or when it is paid?
If AWS and Bonus are given out in Jan 2020, does it add to Taxable income in 2020 or 2019?

Yes. All allowance and bonus are taxable. For the year of assessment, it depends on the AWS and bonus were for which year and not when it was given.
