Is there any intermediate bond or long term bond in Singapore ? and how to buy?
Fixed income securities listed on SGX are here:
However, you will find the selection very weak, and the longest duration with a somewhat decent yield (2.5%) will probably be the Astrea bonds (discounting the perpetuals, which are, well, perpetual). You can purchase this through any CDP linked trading platform. Liquidity is also poor, which means you might not be able to buy it even if you wanted to, since no one wants to sell.
Corporate bonds on the other hand, are plentiful (over 5000 for the SG market alone, last I checked), but you will need at least $250K to buy one, and it needs to be done through your broker.
May i know what is the expected return you are looking for? And how long do you wish it to be?
You may want to consider finding out more on SGX: MBH or
Singapore Government Securities bonds.
