Slaving at Public Sector
As a Tesla long, the simple answer will be that.... it depends.
From all fundamental angles, the company seems to be very, or even the most overvalued stock pick.
So, overvalued? Yes based on the value investing concept.
But overhyped? It depends on your conviction.
Most detractors of Tesla are pointing out (rightfully) that the EV market is getting more and more saturated. However the Tesla's story isn't just purely on EV - but it is on Elon Musk, alongside other mini projects (that may not be profitable yet) such as energy segment, insurance segment, robo-taxis, etc etc.
Personally I am excited to see if Tesla can revolutionize and wow us with its future product offerings (so I do not think that it is overhyped), but if I have a lumpsum I will definitely not throw it all in Tesla right now (it is not in any sense "value investing").

If u look short term, then yes might be overpriced. Tomorrow will be very exciting.
If long term, now still considered cheap actually. Just DCA, buy abit every month or on dips
