If you're unsure whether to invest anot, best is don't invest. Pardon me for my lack of knowledge of cryptocurrencies but I feel it does not have any underlying reasons for its fluctuations. At least for stocks you are able to do an analysis and determine if its a good buy or not. I take comfort in knowing what I buy which gives me a peace of mind.

Nobody can know an answer too it, it is highly risky and volatile.

better stick to time honored, better diversified, maybe a bit 'boring', big and very cheap,
