Hi Anon!

I do agree with Elijah and Kok Wei on their views on this matter.

It's important to engage an advisor which you feel comfortable working with, as this advisor is most likely to service you for a lifetime. That and quality advice plays a very important part for your Financial Planning journey.

Be rest assured if the advisor do leave the company/industry, a new advisor will be appointed to service you and your policies.

To get an unbias review on the products available in the market, definetly go for Independent FA, because they have access to multiple products from different companies and will be able to advice you on the best plan available at that point of time.
