If you invest in a REIT on platforms like SAXO, how are dividends received?

I read online that unlike CDP linked account, platforms like SAXO are custodian accounts and they hold the shares for you, so in this case, if a share pays dividend, how do I receive it?

You also have some cash accounts with your broker/platform and so when there is a payment, as part of the custody arrangements they will make sure the dividend gets credited to the relevant cash account you have with them
