Don't panic sell, and continue with your investment strategy. If you have spare funds, it would be a good time to buy more at discounted prices. Personally, I might rebalance my portfolio (selling the winners, buying the losers) to lock in some profits.

Price vs value

During recession, I will buy more as the price is cheaper.

The one thing I will not do is panic selling. Because you r locking in your loss.

I will buy more during recession to take advantage of the low prices. Buy low during arecession and sell high during a boom. I will opt for auto-optimizer.

First thing I will do, put more money into my robo advisor.

Auto-optimize is a good choice but it is up to personal choice, I think it doesn't matter much since its dollar cost average over many years.
