CPF

If I'm employed in Singapore but based overseas, will CPF still be automatically deducted from my pay? Will my employer still have to contribute to my CPF?

Are there Mandatory CPF contributions by myself and the Bank if I work at the overseas location- HK for example. If yes, are the rates the same?

Definatly needs to be determined when you sign your contract. I worked in HK, US and now SG and at the highest level - it depends on the country, then the next level it depends on the company.

Also - are you PR/Citizen in SG?

If you are located in HK but employed in SG for example - You _should _only be liable to pay MPF (HK version of CPF) and not CPF. You should never be contributing towards two pensions, then your company is doing something wrong. But if they are matching both then maybe dont complain!

You will have ask your HR and contractual employment terms that had been agreed. Negotiate for the terms should you are asked to be re-located
