I'm graduating in May this year, job market looks like it is really bad. What do you think are the best steps for me to take?

How do I make myself look more employable? What are some things I can do to try and secure a job?

To add on a little, just make sure you have some achievements that stand out from the crowd. Think from the employer's perspective: You are just one of the many, many graduates they will be interviewing, so what is something that you have, that the rest don't? (Only you can know the answer for yourself, and of course this 'thing' should be relevant to the job)

Be open to opportunities of any sort. At this point, having a job is better than none. Understand the demands of the current market and sharpen your knowledge and skills towards this area.
