I'm 26F with 4.8k income (after cpf). Am I spending too much on health insurance and am I sufficiently covered? Currently only have 1 dependent (parent). Any advice?

I have

  • prushield+pruextra (41/mnth)
  • pruactive life (215/mnth) 240k sum assured, till 70yo
  • prutriple protect (197/mnth) 260k sum assured, till 70yo
  • prupersonal accident (34/mnth)

Also have

  • manulife 25yr endowment plan (500/mnth)

Your health protection side is probably sufficient for yourself and number of dependents.

That said, financial planning entails protection and a wealth accumulation aspect. You might want to explore other alternatives to wealth accumulation, apart from having an endowment plan, such as exploring investment options.
