I just started an account with SAXO, deposited the money in SGD and bought some stocks in USD. The stock price went up. But when I looked at the stock statement, there was a profit loss in SGD. Why?

So if I were to close and sell my stock would I actualise the loss even though the price of my stock went up? Confused here...

This can be due to the foreign exchange conversion. Just stay committed to your investements.
