I didn't grow up from a wealthy family and so I made it my goal in life to be rich. Do you think investing is the fastest and easiest way to get rich, other than winning the lottery?

There is no get-rich-quick method and the more common ways to be rich are through entrepreneurship or rising through the corporate ladder. Investing is a long continuous process and takes time for the results to show.

Personally, I feel to be rich is to be self-sufficient and self-content. Chasing after material gains is an endless journey and, perhaps, after achieving your goal, it may not bring about as much satisfaction as desired.
