LVHM, L'Oreal and some other luxury stocks really had astounding performances.
Did You consider American Depository Receipts (ADRs)?, that way a lot of big companies of
Europe (and elsewhere) are tradable on the OTC markets in the U.S.
f.ex. LVMUY ADR as a substitute for LVHM. Only the annual fees by the issuing company
are maybe too high (1-3% annually I guess).
Single stock investing anyway is not a good longterm strategy (... but almost nobody wants to hear/buy that ...)
My own thinking:
Always advisable to buy good-quality companies, nothing fishy about going to European market to fish for stocks.
The usual boring cons would be forex,wht etc etc
