I am keen to invest in USA stocks (handpicked). Which brokerage would you recommend? l am looking for low fees (platform & commission). Amount for investment is around SGD3000-5000. Any advice?

TD Ameritrade, now that commissions for stock transactions are zero (maybe excluding exchange related fees).

It's a great platform as well, straightforward to use and has good charting tools.
