I am a Singaporean and my boyfriend is a foreigner (non-PR yet) who has been working in Singapore for 8yrs. What is the process for us applying for BTO or getting resale flasts? Foreign spouse scheme?
We plan to settle down in 2-3 years. we do not have to go through the PMLA process right? Since he is already here.

It is advisable for all foreign- singaporean marriage to go through the PMLA process.

It will help speed up some application of visa passes in the longer run.
-Only Singaporean with PR can purchase BTO.
-Long term visit pass with singaporean can purchase under foreign spouse scheme but it is only for two room flexi non mature area.
-foreigners cannot buy resale flat unless it has a visit pass..
- wanna consider for your boyfriend to apply PR? And I think everything will be easier ...

There is no singaporean/foreigner scheme for BTO. You need to be at least Singaporean/PR to apply BT...

Hi, I'm wondering what the situation is now, were you guys able to apply for BTO? If yes were you only limited to the 2-room flexi?
