We plan to settle down in 2-3 years. we do not have to go through the PMLA process right? Since he is already here.

It is advisable for all foreign- singaporean marriage to go through the PMLA process.

https://www.ica.gov.sg/apply/PMLTVP/apply_PMLTVP_nonresident

It will help speed up some application of visa passes in the longer run.

-Only Singaporean with PR can purchase BTO.

-Long term visit pass with singaporean can purchase under foreign spouse scheme but it is only for two room flexi non mature area.

-foreigners cannot buy resale flat unless it has a visit pass..

  • wanna consider for your boyfriend to apply PR? And I think everything will be easier ...

For your information.

There is no singaporean/foreigner scheme for BTO. You need to be at least Singaporean/PR to apply BTO.

Look up on Non-citizen Spouse Scheme in HDB resale portion.
