I stayed so long because my goal is to really get this VP role. But competition is tough and my other two colleagues who are fighting for are more extroverted whereas I am slightly less extroverted, which I understand will not work in my favour. Hence, wondering if you have any advice on how I can stand out better given my personality and situation. Thanks Glenford!

To be the chosen one given the tough competition, you can think about how to give more valuable contribution to your company and maintain a strong work ethic. Some egs. are identify and solve problems, demonstrate teamwork, take initiatives to volunteer for projects with greater impact and visibility, etc. Along with it, demonstrate the various skills such as strategic thinking, leadership skills, communication and multi-tasking. You can also ask for feedback from your supervisor too.
