I think Singapore’s economy will recover to levels before Covid-19 by 2021 after shrinking 6-6.5% this year. Especially with the RCEP agreement, I expect our ties to be strengthened with China and this will in turn boost our economy quite strongly to pre-Covid levels after 3rd quarter next year. I think Singapore's tech industry will rebound pretty quick and grow even more. The economy in general could be a u shape or w shape recovery. It could be a u shape if the covid situation does not worsen and countries that have managed to curb the sprading will be able to open up. A w shape might happen if a 2nd resurgence or spread of covid happens in countries that have managed to curb it previously, causing them to tighten their restrictions and close up again...
