How should a situation of rising interest rates affect your portfolio / investment strategy? What should you invest in, to hedge against it?

Beginner question here. Noticed from the questions asked that a situation of rising interest rates causes some stocks / REITS to fall quite a bit, hence the curiosity.

Also, if I'm currently only investing in STI ETF - looking at Robos and REITS / REITS ETF in the near future - how would rising interest rates affect me?

Investing in robo advisor is good as they invest in global etf which serve as a good diversification.

Robos will diversify for you so dont have to worry too much. Stocks goes up and down. If you are long term investing, just make sure you are diversified.
