How much does it cost to build a PC? Is it safer to just buy from the shop?

Anyone who knows how to build one can give me some pointers?
I want to mainly play Overwatch on it, as well as make some videos of my own

Got many brands that do custom PC builds like Aftershock, Dreamcore, PC dreams etc.

It used to be cheaper to build your own but now the prices have come down for pre-built custom PC.

I built mine at around 1300$ from PC Theme at Sim Lim Square. Can PM them or make a trip down to their shop as they really quite friendly and informative =) lol

I know that I shouldn't spend recklessly, and should stop buying so much useless things. How do I stop this, if shopping is something that helps me to relieve stress?
