How does UOB determine the spread for gold and silver saving accounts?

Observed that in UOB silver saving account, the spread increase from 37cents to 89cents within a month. Is there any formulae(s) behind the spread determination? And, appreciate the enlightenment if any. Thank you.

It could be due to the lower trading volume of silver.
