How do you manage your time? Does it eat up into your personal time with family and friends?

Especially with your blog, dayre and social media.

Considering that you update your dayre quite frequently with your daily activities, are you on your phone most of the time? Will that jeopardise your time with the precious time spent with your loved ones?

Hi there,

As I grow up, I value time spent with my families even more. Even a simple dinner with my parents. Okay this might sound a little extreme, but sometimes I would visualize what happens if my parents are gone, and that always switches the gear in my head if I ever feel lazy to do anything with them. Personal time is important, so probably 1 night a week I would allocate to myself just to chill, apart from that whenever my fiance/family/friends wanna hang, I would value that a little more!

I think it's all about balancing. Everyone has 24 hours a day, its up to us how we decide to spend it. You can blog on the go while on commute to your next destination, on the toilet etc, you get my gist.

And quality time, not quantity time!

Unless social media is your rice bowl, it should be used during your free time instead of being part of your day-to-day activity and taking up bulk of your time. I think once you're clear that the use of social media is meant to be "fillers" to your time, it should not eat into one's personal time with family and friends.

Instead of planning how much time to spend on bonding activities with your loved ones per week , consider making it a routine if your schedule permits. For example, having breakfast with your family on at least one weekend day, going for a family outing every Sunday, coming home for dinner at least twice a week. Things like these mke it easier to commit yourself to spending quality time with loved ones.

I try to ensure that i have a mininum period of quality time with my loved ones! After all, work is ...
