There are a couple of ways to start. First method is more traditional where you open cdp and brokerage accounts and you buy your chosen reit off the market.

Second method is to do dollar cost averaging into a chosen reit every month. Maybank ke's monthly investment plan will allow you to buy into certain reits like those offered by capitaland or mapletree for $100 per counter per month. All you have to do is to open an individual CDP account as well as set up a trading account with a brokerage firm of your choice. Some brokers may be able to do both at the same time.
