How do I cancel and get a refund for my Hotel room bookings if it was booked under AGODA because of the COVID-19 virus?

Hey I have a new update to this question baesd on my own experience.

Basically I have submitted my refund request via the agoda app itself and contacted their customer service as well via email.

Here's the timeline of events:

  • Jan 2020: I booked 3 seperate hotel bookings in UK, London and Liverpool

  • March 2020: Managed to press hard and get back refunds but it was all on seperate bookings

  • April 2020: Got the refunds back to my credit card (totalling around $500) and for one hotel $199 in hotel credits (agoda)

I got the refunds back nicely so I beleive it is about persistance and not taking no as an answer!

You will need to access the booking page on you mobile app or website and simply drop them an email to share that you are looking for a refund

  1. If your booking on hotel room is cancel with no charge, you can do it automatically.
  2. If it is fully paid you can drop them and email or call and likely you can get Agoda cash to use within 6 months of date refunded
