Hi, it’s great you have a secure job!

There are many jobs where there isn’t mentoring be it a for a mentoring program or even from your managers/seniors. However, mentoring is something you can get outside such as by finding a mentor who could be someone you aspire to be one day, someone within your industry, or even a peer mentor.

As for career advancement, nowadays there are many paths which may not be vertical but could also represent growth opportunities such as taking on a new project or learning new skills. If you don’t have those in your company, you could try volunteering or joining some professional associations.

Explore all possible options in your current role and if you still want career advancement then start networking and exploring opportunities now so that you can get headhunted or approached for other roles :)

All the best!
