Hi, I booked a trip with Scoot last year to Taiwan. I bought travel insurance last year as well, so should it cover trip cancellations bc of Covid-19?

I'm wondering how the claim would work in this case, since Scoot is giving 100% refunds through vouchers. Would I be able to decline the vouchers and claim cash from my travel insurance instead? I tried calling FWD, but I think they're swamped with calls and I can't get through.

Thanks!

Speaking with experience from NTUC Income, since the airline is giving a type of 100% refund, I wasn't able to claim cash from insurance. You can keep trying with FWD, but I think they might be similar to Income with their policy conditions...
