Do you buy slow or fast fashion clothes? Youngsters now also like to dress in retro clothing which is something I wouldn't try, what about you guys?

Hi! "slow fashion" to me kind of refers to those found in thrift shops, vintage stores or are just made more ethically and sustainble. However, they do come with a hefty price tag. I think most of us even Gen-Zs still choose fast fashion over slow fashion because its affordable and easily accessible. Fast fashion clothes do try to mimick a more vintage vibe to attract Gen-Zs nowadays.
I buy fast fashion, and not really about the whole minimalistic wardrobe life. I understand the harmful effects it has on the environment but it is definitely cheaper. Ultimately it comes down to one's lifestyle and whether they are willing to make a change for the environment in this aspect :) Find out what works for you!

That's very interesting to hear from a student perspective. Haha because I recently came across this brand called Everlane and apparently they are very popular because they are transparent with their process of making to delivering. Thought of buying one of it but I saw the hefty price tag, almost cried. Thanks for sharing nonetheless!
I think it depends on your own personal style and you will know what fashion suits you best. I usually purchase clothes that I know I will be able to wear it for different occasions and will last through fashion trends that come and go.
It is also important to consider your budget, and if your budget can only allow for fast fashion then I think its fine as well.
Me too. I buy cheap clothes, use till they look really old then sell to garang guni or donate....
