Does anyone have any experience to share about using platforms such as CardUp/Renthero for apartment rental overseas?

I'll be renting an apartment overseas. I'd like to maximise my miles and have been reading up on platforms such as CardUp/Renthero. Any thoughts?

I did use CardUp to pay my income tax once. It took the delivery of the amount to IRAS quite a while and I got the red letter from IRAS.

Luckily, I extended the payment date from IRAS. If not, I would pay more. Would suggest making the payment earlier so that CardUp would have enough time to deliver the amount to the respective receiver.
