Timebanking is a time-based currency. You give one hour of service to another in the local community, and receive one time credit.
You can use the credits in turn to receive services — or you can donate them to others who are in need.
For this concept to take place, what factors are needed/essential?
Interesting concept, but whats stopping one from just "slacking" until time is up. Reminds me of the good ol' project days, the lazier wins. Whereas the current system is very geared towards efficiency and productivity meaning if i can complete my service in as little time as possible i can move on to the next one such that i can earn more "credit" in the same amount of time. Also it applies if i can complete my service in as little "credit" as possible too
