Do you think it's important to have a Master's degree today given that everyone has a Bachelor's degree and that makes it harder to stand out? Is having a Master's degree important for pay raise too?

Or in terms of career progression and promotion, seems like having more qualifications on paper can be useful.

Skills upgrading supports lifelong learning and it is supposed to help bridge skills gap that are needed to do your work more competently in order to stand out as a good work performer. Prior to embarking on the chosen programme, determine whether the identified course will help to enhance your knowledge and skills. Acquiring a Master's degree doen't necessarily guarantee you a pay raise and it still boils down to your work performance.
