Do I still qualify for the 60,000 sign up bonus if I signed up for the SCB X card in Dec 2019?
Just came across Milelion's post about SCB reducing their sign up bonus for the X card from 60,000 (pay the annual fee of $695 and spend $6k within 60 days) to 30,000 (pay the annual fee of $695), w.e.f. Jan 2020.
May I ask, if I have already signed up and gotten the card in Dec 2019, but have yet to charge $6k and pay the annual fee, am I still eligible for the 60,000 sign up bonus if I manage to hit the $6k spend and pay the annual fee within 60 days of getting the card?

You need to ensure approval by 31st Dec 2019 (which you have), pay the annual fee, and then charge $6000 of eligible transactions within 60 days, you still have time.

I feel now that it has been downgraded to a 30,000 sign up bonus card. the spending amount of $6,000 in 2 months required to earn 30k miles makes it an unworthwhile choice. The cost of buying the miles now is about 2.3 cents per miles which makes it a not worth it option to sign up to buy miles anymore
