Currently have shares in tesla (nasdaq:tsla), had enough with the volatility due to musk's tweets, any thoughts on whether i should exit my investment now, or hold on?

Benefit of hindsight - markets been rallying lately and TSLA bouncing back (rising tide floats all boats!)

But agree - Elon Musk a bit of a loose cannon and while underlying business at TSLA is strong there is a large 'future growth' component in the price that moves wildly depending on the latest (crazy?) thing Elon has said.

If your investment thesis no longer stands, you should go ahead and sell. If you are uncomfortable, you should sell. But if you are in a paper loss position and you need to think twice.

I used to have HKland. I was uncomfortable with the fluctations it had with US currency. Thus I sold, but had to wait a while before a better share price kicks in.
