If you're getting an ID to do your home Reno, you can get a few different quotes for the same layout. Then if there's one particular ID which you like but certain areas' costs are too high, you may try to nego with your ID.

If engaging contractor, you can always try to nego from the beginning but likelihood of lower pricing is slim!
