Seen many of these laundry and washing machine shops pop out in many places. Just go with laundry, pop in a coin and wash. Is it cheaper than owning washing machine?
We can do a simple calculation to determine how many washes from buying a washing machine and using at home is the same as washing at the shop.
Washing machine cost: 238
cost of washing powder per cycle: 0.5
cost of washing at shops: 4
From the calculation, You will need to do about 68 cycles of washing at home with your own washing machine in order to have the same cost as washing at the shop. From 69 cycles onward, your cost of washing the clothes at home will be cheaper than washing at the shops.
