I have a friend who works in Google in US. Didn't see him very much except when he's in town, but from our last coffee, he loved all the perks that came with it. Should have asked him more, but the key things I recall were: Co workers were always wonderful and collaborative, free food was great (he'd gain a few kilos) and he was not under any micromanaging, which helps him to focus on his work and deliver what was needed and expected of him. I especially like the last one. He was given a ton of autonomy.

I personally have not worked at Google and Facebook, but I have worked at smaller tech firms and also been to both the Google and Facebook office to meet with friends who work there!
The lunch is such a nice perk :)
If you're in a good team, you get to interact with people in a dynamic environment.
Because both Google and Facebook are companies that have a big impact on the lives of people all over the world, it's exciting to see how those products and solutions are developed in-house.

Hi Anon,
I have not worked at either both, but for myself I'm working for SAP which can be comparable to the tech giants. In terms of culture, it's definitely an inclusive culture that embraces diversity. Working experience there has been great for me thus far, have been with the company for more than 12 years.

You will be surrounded by co-workers with strong positive vibes and are smart and creative!
Additionally, be prepared to indulge yourself in unlimited snacks and drinks in a cozy and fun environment.
So long as you deliver what you need to do, then you will be rewarded accordingly.
Here is everything about me and what I do best.
