What are some additional costs? Any red flags when investing with ADRs? Would you recommend it?

Backoffice technical at financial services firm

ADRs meaning the proxy of non US shares traded on US stock markets.

Done it a few times (Alibaba recently and ARM Holdings previously)

It works fines. There is a odd fee here and there (ADR fees) but it is a nominal few dollars

It is mostly like investing directly
