Any thoughts on "Value Investing - Expand Your Circle of Competence"?

Recently I came across this e-book by Kelvestor. Just wondering if it's worth reading to build up my knowledge for investing? If not, are there better books for learning about investments?

Definitely a must read if you wish to shortcut your journey.

i feel in that in investments you gotta make mistakes for the mistakes to sink in Deep. Yet this book highlights the many mistakes he made so you can avoid them!

Simple to understand and yet so practical. A great book to kickstart an amazing journey!

Kelvin! He's my friend.

When I got to know him, I was so inspired by his determination to find the best companies to share with his community members. He wakes up early to do research, he stays late to attend confererence calls with management.

Year by year, I saw his capaibilites and investing knowledge skyrocket within a short period of time. Sometimes, I wonder how he grew so much.

Despite his achievements. he has told me personally that his greatest wish is to duplicate his learnings back to people he met. However, he was exhausting himself out by meeting people. To solve this problem, he decided to write a book containing the answers on how to filter companies, how to analyse industries (hotels, reits, etc) and his successes/failures.

I'm sure there are better books but you may want to check his book out! He writes very well and put a lot of heart into it.

Decent book. However I will recommend other books such as "One up on Wall street" or "the little book that beats the market" to understand about stock prospecting

If you are new to investing, this is the must read book! Inside you would find lot of gems and you can learn from mistakes done by kelvestor! Also, he actually summarises all the key thing about investing. If you want to fast track your learning, the book can definitely help you!
