SMU offers a Master of Science in Accounting (Data & Analytics)

https://accountancy.smu.edu.sg/master-accounting

You can use SkillsFuture Credit and Study Awards for this course: https://accountancy.smu.edu.sg/master-accounting/admissions/financial-assistance

You may want to look at the data analytics course conducted by Republic Polytechnic.

There is an learning institute in Orchard that has a data analytics course, able to use your skill futures credits too and is heavily subsidized by the government if you can meet the critieria (SME/WTS etc)

Don't think this can use Skills Future, but it's accredited by IBF and there are fundings for this course as well. Have attended a short workshop by Hyper Island and found them to be super engaging and the activities they make us do made us aware that there are actually alot of websites that helps you analyse data which you can utilise if you actually know they exist.

It depends on what kind of data analyst you want to be - do you want to delve more into the finance side or the programming side, etc? You maybe also want to consider checking out the free courses on sites such as Coursera, edX, etc!

Hi Samantha, I'm more keen towards the finance side. Any particular courses that you will recommend?

You might want to look at having your basics covered, ie, debit, credit, OPEX, etc! At the same time, as a data analyst, you’ll need to be able to create a story using graphs and charts (yes, good ole PowerPoint!) such that people are able to get a message across with a glance:)
