My concept is: there is no exit strategy, except You need that money for non-investing purposes, which is fine.

Otherwise buy stock ETFs and REIT ETFs, then hold for very, very longterm,

everything else - I feel - fails for retail investors.

For me I'll look to exit once my capital gains have exceeded about 1-2 years worth of dividend payouts unless I think the stock has a longer way to go in price.

I think etfs are a great way to gain passive market returns without the need for stock selection. Great for a couch potato mindset to investing. Not for me though as I'm more for stock picking and selling options.
