From what little you've written, it seems to be the case. I think there must be times when he says no to unreasonable demands, even if the child throws a tantrum he must not give in

I'm contemplating a career switch at the moment - my salary hasn't jumped much over the past 3 years and in struggling to see myself in this field for the rest of my life so I feel it's the best time of my life to switch fields, suffer a slight paycut. Advice for fresh grad- go in with your eyes wide open. See what relevant skills you can learn and take to your next job because let's face it - rarely do you stay in the same job for life anymore.

I constantly prune the credit cards I hold. Currently they are: OCBC 360 - for my 365 acct Uob one - for my wedding and grabpay SC unlimited- catch all card Citi premier miles- when earning miles makes meow sense than cashback My inactive ones include:. Citi SMRT. I'm still holding on to it as the minimum spend is low and if I cut the 360 I'll need something to replace!

Tell your loved ones that if they do not invest, 1) the value if their savings will be eroded by inflation 2) they may possibly be missing out on gains that can multiply your spare cash. There are so many products on the market now catering to people with different risk appetites

My wedding was just over so I can honestly say I livedby the mantra - some things are not worth fighting over. If it's something you can comprise on, just do it because at the end of the day, they're also proud and happy parents and they share your joy as well. If it's something you have very strong ideas about, sit down with your parents, talk about it and come to a compromise.

I would look at its fees, functions and evaluate it alongside the other products on the market. Just because it bears the Goldman Sachs brand name does not mean that it is better

A bank acct with high interest! Possibly those that offers high interest if you credit your salary + spend on your cc tied to the same bank that is under your name!

Take advantage of places that has free attractions that you can bring your children to! Carry your own entertainment, food and drinks for those long car/train rides etc.
