Do you have suggestions on how I can get help with my debt situation? I'm helping my brother out and as a result, face debit issues now. What should I do?

Try to negotiate with the lender to pay via instalments over a period of time. You should let your parents know as they maybe able to help you with the funds or they could find other ways to raise the money. Report the cheating case to the police. If you know the person who cheated your brother, then go to his/her employer and family and let them know and see what can be done. You could use social media to find that person too. They have to be responsible for their actions. Everything can be solved so don't give up. Killing yourself won't resolve the problem. Instead it will bring greater pain and sorrow to your parents and loved ones. God Bless!

Best to be upfront and tell him that you are not switching. You can say that if you come across anyone looking to buy, you will send them his way.

Good for you! Try an even higher amount of possible. It's all about discipline and deciding between needs and wants. I find it works better to determine how much you need to spend and set an amount each month then save the rest. All the best!

Marriage

I found out that my husband is having an affair. However, he is also the only one earning in our family. If I file for a divorce, does it mean I will have to provide for my 2 children alone?

I am about to receive 2,000 GBP from UK. What's the best way to minimize the forex/transaction fees? Is it (a) to deposit 2,000 GBP at source currency via DBS's MCA and subsequently convert to SGD or (b) receive the money as SGD?

I did the former thinking the pound will strengthen. Still waiting! The former doesn't incur any costs. Make sure that they specifically state remitting in Sterling Pounds though in the advice.

If he is afraid of failure then it is very difficult to start a business or even work in a job. As for politics it happens every where in the office, in family, friendships etc. You can run but you can't hide. Honestly my advice is to first work on his attitude and outlook on life before deciding anything else. Good luck!

My girlfriend's parents constantly makes me pay for meals when we eat together. They know that I'm well to do, and I know they are not. Am I just being petty?

First it's meals then will be household expenses , medical vacation etc. It's the mentality. You may be well off but you are not an ATM. If they including your gf have this type of mindset then the future is bleak. Cut your losses and head for the door!!

Honestly no job is perfect. Grass always looks greener on the other side. In my opinion you have to be realistic and ask yourself what are you looking for. Once you know that you can decide what you need to do. All the best!

I'm 26, going 27 next year, and I see all my friends getting married, doing well in their work, but I feel like I haven't really grown up. Is it normal to feel so lost and behind?
