Personally I use Spree cos it's a higher cashback. For big purchases I will use Manhattan. So the unlimited cashback to me is like not here or there haha

I always use Shopback and Expedia. Expedia rates might sometimes lose to Booking.com but because I stick to Expedia, I have became their GOLD member which results in more Expedia points per stay. All these points can be used to pay for my next hotel booking so it's a huge win! I use SC Manhattan or Spree as they have ongoing promo code with Expedia too!

Hi, Can I suggest since your monthly spending is relatively low, you can go down the miles route? Cashback is very hard to hit, min spending, selected credit card, selected purchases (food, online, travel). For miles, whatever you charge you get back the mpd. You can take a look at Mile Lion blog for ideas to maximise MPD!

Hi, A reno loan is definitely very very risky, we recently got a house, we had only air con, minimal wiring, wifi. Why not delay your renovation, and do something really basic? Furthermore, you might only stay for 5 years before moving out. Also is the wedding coming? My friend took a slippery path and got both wedding and reno loan. Now she is paying back every month with very very high interest rate.

SInce you are young, and plus u believe in term, you should stick to term. I am also a beliver of term. I buy the necessary insurance protection and the rest I am investing in low risk like STI ETF!
