Should I be using my PSEA funds for the payment of my university tuition fees, or should I make use of the interest free loans?

I’m currently taking an interest free loan. I’ll recommend you to take advantage of it instead of using your PSEA fund. This way, you can make use of the interest free 30-40k (suppose u have that amt saved) during your course of study through deposition into a decent interest rate bank acct and investments, and earn interest from the PSEA fund at the same time.

My husband is the only one making CPF contributions in the family. Should I be worried that my CPF account has almost nothing?

Yes, you should be. And what makes you think that he’s going to continue supporting you for the rest of your life? As the saying goes, 靠山山倒 靠人人跑 靠自己最好. Don’t make yourself dependent on someone else for money, go earn your own.

I moved 10k from my SC Jumpstart account into Singlife acct on 7th April and received my interest on 7th May! So far everything’s alright and you can withdraw your money anytime. Seedly has a review column for Singlife account so you can check that out as well.

I am an undergraduate and all my money is currently in a DBS Savings Account. Are there any other better ways to grow my savings with higher interest rates?

I am an undergrad and was previously like you too! Thanks to Seedly, I have since placed my money into: 1. Singlife Account It offers 2.5% for the first 10k and 1% for the subsequent 90k. However, this is an insurance savings plan and interest rate is subjected to change anytime. 2. Standard Chartered Jumpstart account It offers 2% for the first 20k. It also comes with a 1% cashback debit card for most mastercard transactions! 3. Cimb Fastsaver It offers 1% for the first 50k. 4. Singapore Savings Bond The interest rate is announced monthly. I placed some money in it a year ago when the interest rate was still around 2%, but the interest rate recently aren’t that great.

Credit Cards

I'm thinking of getting a credit card as a student, what are my options?

To top off the other answers, I’d recommend applying for a Standchart Jumpstart account which comes with a cashback card. It gives 1% cashback for all mastercard/visa payments and what’s better, it’s a debit card so you don’t have to worry forgetting to pay your bills! However, one thing to note is that you should only use this card after maximising the 2% interest for the first $20k in the account.
