You should look out for ETFs from roboadvisors, particularly Syfe, Stashaway or Kristal. Since your investment amount is regular and small, you should avoid buying through even SAXO or IBKR cos the comission fees will eat up your portfolio. Stashaway will invest your money in a combination of mainly US bonds/equities and gold, depending on your risk profile. It is good to have at least 2 portfolios of different risk profiles. Syfe has the lowest management fee and they also have the SG REIT porfolio (Stashaway has it, but the minimum allocation is 10K SGD) For Kristal.ai, they have $0 commission until you have 50kUSD of NAV. you can buy their custom portfolios or just buy certain ETFs like SPY, SPYG or VONG, VEA. Here you have more flexibility and variety, you can even buy Clean energy etfs like ICLN, FIW water resources etf or those in the tech sectors which bring higher returns when the bull market is still on. China ETFs can be bought there too.

Seems like they buy their REITs directly, since the allocation is different. On the other hand, Stashaway's income portfolio relies on buying Nikko AM Asia Ex-Japan Reit ETF. So that means there are 2 layers of management fees? (0.8%, then 0.5% from the Reit ETF). Not too sure if they are including other SGX-listed Reits that cover more geographies. Eg Manulife, ARA, EHT, Ascendas India trust, Lippo malls. Mine has 6% of cash allocation, which i'm wondering why it's so much. This is much better than buying other REIT ETFs out there, especially if you wanna buy directly from the brokers. The other option will be to buy the Nikko AM Asia Ex-Japan REIT ETF from POSB investsaver ! !

With the roll out of Grabpay mastercard, you could use this hack to get more cashback from your UOB one card: (note: Grab does not award points for cardup transaction) depedning on your premium amount and how much more money you require to hit the next tier, you could: 1. Top-up your grabpay Wallet(premium amount 1.026), split this over 3 months before your premium due date; pay premium woth cardup/ipaymy depending on promo rates. (check your UOB One card e-statement to see when is your qualifying quarter) 1. Top-up your Grabpay wallet (premium amount 1.026), split this over 6 months (or 2 quarters) before your premium due date 2. change your premium payment frequency to (bi-annually/every 6 months) and split your grabpay top ups over 2 quarters. (note: increase payment freq may mean a higher overall increase in premium amount by about 2-3%) too bad NTUC income does not accept Cardup or Ipaymy This depends on whether you want to shift your cashback tier from: $500 to $1000 (additional $50 cashback per quafter, excluding The extra 5% off from grab transaction) $1000 to $2000 tier

UT - if you want a diversified portfolio, but only have spare cash in the thousands, UT might be an option for you to diversify the portfolio. They are also easy to purchase, and platforms like Phillips Securities POEMS offer 0% sales charge. Otherwise, you also have your major banks who also allow their customers to buy UT, albeit w a sales of around 0.8-1.5% Do note that most Unit Trust funds have a management fee of 1.5% p.a. If you compound it, it does eat into your returns (if the economy is doing well) but if the market is down, it means that you would be loosing out more. Most often, UT funds do not outperform the market, so perhaps getting ETFs might be a better options. If you are short on cash, you can try StashAway. PM for referral so we can get waiver from their platform mgmt fees of 0.7%? Btw I do not have any stakes in these trading companies or Brokers, just a fresh grad starting out my own investments for a year.
