Hello! I'm not a property agent. However, I do feel soft skills like negotiation and adaptability are important skills to hone in on when becoming a property agent. Technical know-how about property is crucial too. Currently, as at 1 Jan 2020, there are more than 30,000 number of property agents as seen from the Council for Estate Agencies website. From what I understand, one would need to take a Real Estate Salesperson exam prepatory course and pass the Real Estate Salesperson Examination, register for license, etc, before becoming a property agent. Although some may be under the impression that being a property agent can make you lots of money (it depends), property agents have to put in the hours, dedication and make sacrifices. With consumers being more property-savvy too, how can one as a property agent value add to their clients? Find out more from property agents themselves! It would be good to hear their experiences (:

A rule I live by is to always pay myself first when my salary is in my bank account. During my younger days I squandered alot of money, was ill-disciplined and lacked personal finance know-how. Moving forward, I make sure I always save for rainy days!

What qualifications do you need to get a job as a web developer? How do I get started if I'm learning through online courses? Any other comments on the career?

Hello, I'm not too sure about the qualifications. But, I do feel a solid portfolio which demonstrates your mastery of the necessary practical skills will put you in a favourable position. Maybe to start things off, you could read up on frontend developers, backend developers and full stack developers and the different languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, etc.) that entails. A Web Designer is not to be confused with a Web Developer. The former is like an Architect, whereas the latter is like the Engineer.

This article breaks it down. Quoting the article, "if you’re just starting out, then Saxo Markets would probably be the more practical choice for most investors."

A place that my family occasionally visits is at Woodlands Terrace, where there are many food factory outlets with wholesale bargains. Ranging from frozen seafood, yong tau foo ingredients, steamboat ingredients to even tempeh too! Some of the retailers have an online presence too so you can order online.

When June 2 comes and Circuit Breaker ends, are you still working from home or would you have to return to the office? I'm not looking forward to it, wondering if I'm the only one feeling so?

Hello, I would still be working from home! Pros and cons of working from home, but I feel the pros outweigh the cons for me haha. I'd rather work from home too. Time saved on travelling to the workplace is a game changer!

Are they still your close friends? (It's been 2 years) If I were in your shoes, I would spend lesser time hanging out with them. Similar to what Summer has mentioned earlier, "we are the average of the 5 people" we spend the most time with. Spend time with friends who encourage and support you, give honest constructive feedback, share similar interests, values and priorities with you.

What are the best workout programs that you've done and managed to lose weight? Any recommendations for the best workouts?

Hello, I think regardless of workout programs, the key to losing weight is consistency in exercising regularly. And a balanced nutritious diet plays a part too. Many years back, I managed to lose 8kg in a span of a year - I did morning jogs thrice a week without fail, for a few months and reduced my rice intake by half. Recently, I've been exercising to Body Project workout videos on Youtube. Its easy to follow, and some videos do not require any fitness equipment. In short, being dedicated, consistent and patient will help you in losing weight. All the best!

! My family and I love eating spicy food and we were craving for curry. Thus, I cooked a pot of Curry Chicken ! It costs about $19 to prepare this meal that serves about 4-5 pax. Cooking tip: Stir fry diced onions, curry paste, chicken and potato together before adding water. This step ensures that your curry turns out to be more fragrant! (:

Apps that I enjoy using: - YouTube mainly for fitness, cooking and Watercolor Painting videos. There's so much to discover on YouTube. - Snapseed is great for basic photo editing (Features like: Crop, Rotate, Text, Brightness, Saturation, Highlights, Shadows, White Balance, etc.) - Unfold for creating photo collages and adding text as well. My favourite font to use is Northwell. - Mojo for creating animated stories through editable templates. It's very simple to use and they have some really nice animated templates.
